Another beautiful wedding with the amazing Kaleb Norman James Design and O’Malley Photographers! This wedding was held in Stanly Ranch, a newly open Auberge Resorts Collections in Napa Valley. It’s one of the few weddings where I got to work with the couple starting at their Save the Date and we’re able to create consistent branding for their paper goods all the way to their bar signage!

We start with a simple and modern Save the Date but not lacking in details! For their custom Save the Date, we do digital and letterpress combo on ivory cotton paper and duplexed for extra thickness. I did custom illustrations for the border to frame their engagement photo. We’re keeping the return address with modern typography and sealed with custom monogrammed in a white wax seal. We use the dusty blue of their outer envelope as the letterpress color.

For the main invitation, we do a lot more custom botanical illustrations that I use though out their invitation suite. A custom botanical crest in the shape of an infinity symbol was chosen to incorporate the infinity sculpture on the venue. The rest of the illustrations are incorporated as blind letterpress backgrounds for their invitation card, digitally printed for their vellum sleeve, and letterpressed on their liners. We keep the rest of the design modern with clean typography and some of my Moderne Calligraphy sprinkles throughout. We use the same wax seal design in black to tie everything together.

We use the same branding elements for their welcome sign, bar signs, napkins, and custom menus. I even did a custom illustration of their beloved pet for one of the bar signs! For the menus, we did a custom letterpress backing on duplex dusty blue cardstock. The actual menu text is letterpressed on ivory cotton paper and secured with a black wax seal of the couple’s initials. We use digitally printed tented place cards with an initial to signify the guest’s choice of entree using the same font we use throughout for consistency.
