I'm so very excited to put this shoot up in my website!! I know I've shared a bunch when Style Me Pretty featured this shoot, but there's so many gorgeous images in this shoot you guys!!

I have a really weak spot for watercolor and color blues, so when Beatrice from Luna de Mare Photography contacted me for this shoot I just have to do this! Beatrice showed the gorgeous watercolor gown by Sweet Caroline as the main inspiration for my invitation suite. I did a handmade watercolor washed on Silk and Willow handmade watercolor paper. I use black sumi ink for all the writing and details, which ties in beautiful with the modern black diamond engagement ring by Susie Saltzman. For the RSVP and place cards however, I did a lot of watercolor wash to make the white writing pops. And knowing me, I can't help to sprinkle some lovely finetec moon gold throughout this shoot! Since this shoot was local, I was given free reign in terms of stationery styling. Which makes this calligrapher very happy since I can play around with Silk and Willow gorgeous runners, so many flowers, and Beatrice's personal ceramic dish collection!

Next are the majestic beauty of Jenn Sanchez Design floral arrangements! Just the sheer scale of greeneries is something that makes your heart flutter with excitement! And I just love how she incorporates fruits with her styling. I mean, who knows pear can looks so pretty as part of the table settings? Kind of remind you of the traditional oil paintings with those juicy edible fruits.

And let's not forget about the shoot location itself! Since industrial loft with concrete flooring, huge factory windows, and white brick walls are pretty much my favorite location. So here you go! I hope you guys enjoy them as much as we do!
