Parisian Styled Elopement by Lara Lam Photography
As seen in Style Me Pretty (2016).
Yes, yes, I have a very soft spot for Paris! To be honest, the only reason I'm excited about my future US Citizen application is so I can travel to Paris without a visa! So I'm very excited when Lara asked me to collaborate on this Parisian styled shoot earlier this year. I may not be able to travel with ease to Paris but I feel my stationery is an extension of me, so it's like a little piece of me in France and I'm more than happy with that (for now).
She told me how Paris sky was not cooperating with them. It was clear all week but decided to rain during the shoot! But despite everything that could went wrong, the shoot come out beautifully. From the dress, to the ample amount of details (I love details), and the beautiful florals! Even the grey sky and the rain adds to the moody-ness of this shoot.
I did a wedding vow with in French with a watercolor wash suite to match the moody Paris. Even the waxseal is an Fleur-de-Lis! I love how pretty the vow look when styled together with the vintage ring box, engagement ring, and wedding band. I always love monogram for wedding and I chose to add a bit more delicate detail to give the suite that Parisian flair. Those Silk and Willow handmade paper with watercolor wash and some spec of Finetec's gold watercolor never fail you guys!
But I don't think my words could do much justice in describing how pretty this shoot is! Always love to work with Lara so please enjoy the pretties give them lots of love!
Merci!!
